Editing Permalink Structure in WordPress

My friend ask me how to edit the permalink structure in a WordPress installation that’s why I posted this info,and if there people might need this trick in there WP installations.

First login to your WP admin account to edit settings usually located at http://yourdomain.com/wp-admin you will be redirected to the Admin Dashboard. Navigate through Settings-> Permalinks. You will see common settings on Permalink Settings page,  select Custom Structure and paste this “/%postname%” without the quotes.

When you refresh the page you will see the effect on your url, also if the permalink text on the post is edited and set to blank on the posts.
